The 2023 SONATA offers a range of four engine options throughout the model lineup, from our most powerful 2.5L Turbocharged engine equipped on the N Line model to the fuel-efficient Smartstream 2.0L Hybrid engine on our Ultimate Hybrid model.
The standard Smartstream 2.5L GDI engine delivers 191 horsepower and 181 lb.-ft. of torque, providing excellent mid-range power for easy drivability. Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist — Reverse
Back into a parking spot with confidence. This available feature will provide an audible warning if the rear of the vehicle gets too close to an object. As the vehicle approaches closer to the object, the warning sound will increase in frequency. If the vehicle is not stopped, the system can apply automatic braking to help avoid hitting the object.

Available Parking Distance Warning – Forward/Reverse uses sensors to gauge the distance between your vehicle and an obstacle, issuing an audible warning if the rear of the vehicle gets too close to an object.
