The IONIQ 5 N is fast on the road and its charge time matches the speed with ultra-fast 800 V charging that delivers up to 350 kW, which can charge up to 80% in 18 minutes!
The power of N is tested on the Nurburgring. This time, using a dual motor All-Wheel Drive electric powertrain that goes 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 260 km/h.
The IONIQ 5 N comes with drive modes specially tuned for different concepts. Eco gives you maximum driving range. Normal delivers a comfortable and refined ride. Sport is nimble and responsive. N is aggressive and precise. You can also have your own custom drive mode that fits your drive style.
The IONIQ 5 N’s large size disc brakes greatly enhance braking safety through increased heat capacity and improved performance degradation. The N Brake Regen system also helps maximize braking performance with up to 0.6 G of brake force while on the track.
The IONIQ 5 N’s N e-Shift simulates the gear shifts of an 8-speed dual clutch transmission. You can also maximize the fun with the N Drift Optimizer, which helps maintain the drift angle with speed, style and precision. And for customizable crackles and racecar pops, N Active Sound+ is a synythesized sound equalizer that allows you to simulate the sound of the exhaust.

It also includes comprehensive monitoring and warning of potential collisions and assists in avoiding collisions. Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA 2)
The Highway Lane Change Assist function helps change lanes to the direction the driver slightly turns the signal switch to, if the function judges that lane change is possible. This assisted lane change function occurs when driving over 60 km/h. It also responds to vehicles that cut in while driving at low speeds and adjusts the position in the current lane when a vehicle in the adjacent lane drives too close.
Lane Following Assist (LFA)
Using the frontview camera to detect lane markers on the road, this standard feature assists the driver’s steering to help keep the vehicle centred inside the lane.
Lane Keeping Assist
Drift outside your lane without signalling and this standard system will alert you with audible and visual cues. If no action is taken, Lane Keeping Assist can apply corrective steering assistance to remain within the lane.
Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go (NSCC)
Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go helps drive at a certain speed according to the road conditions on highways by using road information from the navigation system. With Highway Curve Zone Auto Slowdown, if vehicle speed is high, function will temporarily decelerate your vehicle or limit acceleration to help you drive safely on a curve based on navigation information. It also uses Highway Set Speed Auto Change, which sets the based speed automatically depending on the speed limit information from the navigation.
Parking Distance Warning (PDW) (forward/side/reverse)
Parking Distance Warning helps warn the driver if an obstacle is detected within a certain distance when the vehicle is moving in forward, and reverse, at low speeds.
Rear Cross-traffic Collision-avoidance Assist (RCCA)
When reversing out of areas with low visibility, this standard system warns the driver if a vehicle approaches from either side. It can also apply the brakes automatically under certain conditions if no action is taken.
Rear View Monitor (RVM)
Rear View Monitor shows the area behind the vehicle to assist you when parking or backing up.
