Advanced Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian, Junction-Turning and Junction-Crossing Detection

High Beam Assist
Using the front-mounted camera and light detection technology, standard High Beam Assist technology provides an extra level of convenience by automatically switching between high and low beam when traffic is detected ahead.
Highway Driving Assist 2
Available Highway Driving Assist 2 is the enhanced version of Highway Driving Assist. Working in conjunction with Lane Following Assist, Lane Change Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control with traffic stop and go, it conveniently helps you keep to the speed limit by adjusting your set cruise control speed as the speed limit changes, based on GPS and highway data, and automatically decreases your speed before entering a highway curve section when you have both hands on the wheel and are driving over 60 km/h.
Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keeping Assist
Start drifting outside of your lane without signaling and this standard system is designed to inform you with haptic, audible and visual cues. If no action is taken, Lane Keeping Assist can apply corrective steering assistance to help keep the vehicle within the lane markings.
Lane Following Assist
Using the frontview camera to detect lane markers on the road, this feature assists the driver’s steering to help keep the vehicle centred inside the lane.
Parking Distance Warning — Reverse
The standard Parking Distance Warning — Reverse feature uses sensors embedded into the rear bumper to make reverse parking easier by producing a warning sound for the driver if the rear of the vehicle gets too close to any object. As the vehicle approaches closer to the object, the warning sound will increase in frequency. Parking Distance Warning — Front is also available.
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist
When reversing out of areas with low visibility, standard Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist not only warns the driver if vehicles approach from the side — it can also apply the brakes automatically if no action is taken.

Standard Safe Exit Assist helps prevent your passengers from stepping onto the road by sounding an alert and temporarily locking the rear doors when its radar detects a vehicle approaching from behind. This technology continues to monitor for up to 10 minutes after the ignition is turned off.
Ultrasonic Rear Occupant Alert
As the engine is turned off, a visual warning in the instrument cluster reminds you to check the rear seats before exiting. An audible alert will also sound once you open the driver’s door as a secondary reminder. Additionally, overhead ultrasonic sensors monitor the rear-seat area to further minimize the risk of a child or pet accidently being left inside after the vehicle is parked and locked.
